Tour runs Sunday to Sunday (with Meet and Greet on first Sunday night in Banff)

Seven days, seven nights (with an option of additional nights). This tour covers the length of the Canadian Rockies from Banff to Fernie with snow-days at Sunshine Village, Lake Louise, Golden (Kicking Horse), and Fernie. Ticket price includes dorm accommodation, transportation, self-serve breakfasts, Radium Hot Springs admission, AND souvenir shirt or toque. Welcome Package (includes stickers, discount coupons for various businesses along the tour route, and informative brochures), pizza dinner in Golden, Fernie Ghostriders hockey ticket or admission for curling in Fernie, and five lift passes at the Rockies’ four premier ski resorts.
- Equipment Rental - Full equipment rental for entire duration of tour. Ski Package (includes skis, boot, and poles) $155.00 CAN plus applicable taxes per person. Snowboard Package (includes snowboard and boots) $175.00 CAN plus applicable taxes per person.

- For individuals arriving by air for the Rocky Mountain Rager, it is best advised to land in Calgary Alberta. The Banff Airporter Shuttle travels to Banff several times a day and tickets can be purchased directly on the bus. (See Transfers)
- Private/Semi-Private room upgrades are available for this package but do not include the overnights in Banff or Golden. Please contact us directly for more information.
- Airport Drop-Off on final day $25.00 CAN - all guests flights must leave no earlier than 15:00 on the final Sunday of the tour in order to allow sufficient time to drive from Fernie to Calgary, no exceptions shall be made.
- Banff to Kelowna or Vancouver transportation is available through the Moose Network (for those planning on doing the Westcoast Powder Package). For rates and scheduling please do contact us.

Each tour is assigned a host from the highly entertaining Moose Travel Network staff roster. Throughout the tour, the host will provide assistance to all guests and give daily briefings on the great ski area the tour is about to visit. Upon arrival at each ski resort, guests are given a quick tour of the base area, then left to explore the resort at their own pace. All hosts carry cell phones throughout the day, and are able to be reached at any time if needed. Entertainment and fun are the highest priority, and tour hosts strive to provide the most possible.
Evening Meeting (Sunday night)
Group meets at SameSun Backpacker Lodges in Banff for introductions. Those requiring rentals are taken into town to be set-up for the trip. Night is spent out on the town in Banff with accommodation in Banff at SameSun, located right downtown.
Day One (Monday):
After an early breakfast, the group heads up to Sunshine Village at 8:00 am for a day spent playing in this resort’s world famous terrain. After a day of skiing, the group meets in ‘Mad Trappers Saloon’, the historic log cabin located in the middle of the village. After a bit of relaxing, we head back down to Banff for a relaxing evening at SameSun (be sure to visit the hostels toasty HOT TUB).
Day Two (Tuesday):
After breakfast, the group heads out to Lake Louise at 8:00 am. Spend the entire day exploring Lake Louise Resort. This mountain is one of the biggest resorts in North America and is not known as ‘the giant of the Rockies’ for nothing. Afterwards, if the group is keen, a visit to the world famous Chateau Lake Louise can be made. This place brings the true meaning to the phrase ‘winter wonderland’ with its many ice sculptures; snow covered peaks, and skating rink on the polished lake. When all the gazing has been done, the group heads back to Banff for a night out on the town at the various local pubs. Overnight is spent at the SameSun Banff hostel.
Day Three (Wednesday):
First thing in the morning, the group is off to Golden where they will spend the day skiing or snowboarding at the Kicking Horse Resort! After a full day on the slopes, the group is treated to a pizza dinner! Overnight Golden.
Day Four (Thursday):
After sleeping in and a late breakfast, the group Departs for Fernie. En route, a visit to Radium Hot Springs is made to soak in the Hot Springs’ magical waters (admission is included in package price). Spend the late afternoon and evening relaxing at the hostel or exploring the town. Overnight SameSun Fernie.
Day Five (Friday):
After an early morning breaky, the group heads to one of the best-known resort MECCAS in Canada, Fernie Alpine Resort. After a day of riding, the group heads back to town to drop everyone off at the renowned SameSun Fernie. After a little liquid relaxing, it’s time for the Fernie Ghostriders hockey game, or should the case be that the Ghostriders are out of town, no worries, we will have another activity lined up for you! Day Six (Saturday):
Leaving the hostel at 8:30 am, the tour rides Fernie for another day. Other options are available to guests if they want to explore the area in a different way (i.e. ski-doo/snowmobiling tours, snowshoeing, dog-sledding, cat-skiing etc) please enquire at time of booking. The night is spent again at the SameSun Lodge. Since this is the last night of the tour, be sure to head over to 'The Pub' right next-door to share the week’s memories over a few bevies. Overnight SameSun Fernie.
Day Seven (Sunday):
The group leaves Fernie at 10:00 am to return to Banff via Calgary should airport drop-offs be required (downtown Calgary drop-offs also available - approximate arrival time in Calgary 2:00 pm). Additional Guests requiring drop-offs at the Calgary International Airport can add the Airport Drop-Off option to their package. All flights must leave no earlier than 3:00 pm to allow for sufficient time to drive from Fernie to Calgary. Those with rentals simply leave their gear on the bus and it will be returned for them. Banff hostel overnights can also be reserved in advance.
